These terms govern your use of the ValoAssist desktop application and this website. Please read them before subscribing.
01Who we are
ValoAssist (“we”, “us”) is an independent software product operated by a sole proprietor established in Slovenia, European Union. You can reach us at support@valoassist.com, which is the address for every kind of enquiry — support, billing and legal notices alike.
02What ValoAssist is
ValoAssist is a Windows desktop application and a reference library. When you press one of its hotkeys, it takes a capture of your own screen, reads the in-game minimap to work out which map you are on and where the spike has been planted, and shows previously recorded reference screenshots on your secondary monitor.
It does not modify VALORANT, read the game's memory or its files, draw anything over the game window, or run in the background between keypresses. That is a constraint we hold ourselves to rather than a limitation we worked around, and it is set out in full on the home page.
03Who sells you the subscription
Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record. That provider is the seller of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, charges and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax, issues your invoice and handles billing enquiries. It is identified at checkout, and its own terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
These Terms govern the software and the content you get access to. Where the two differ on a question about the payment, the provider's terms govern the payment.
04Subscription, trial and price
- The subscription costs €6.00 per month. Tax is added at checkout where it applies, according to where you are.
- A 14-day free trial is available. It takes no payment and does not turn into a paid subscription on its own — you subscribe only if you choose to.
- A paid subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel it.
- We may change the price. If we do, we will tell you before it affects you, and you may cancel rather than accept it.
05Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, from the payment provider's customer portal or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges and your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling is not by itself a request for a refund — see the Refund Policy, which is more generous than that.
06What you may do with it
While your subscription is active we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use ValoAssist on computers you control, and to use its lineup library for your own play.
That library — the screenshots, the recorded coordinates, the notes and the flight times — is our own work. Every lineup in it was recorded and thrown by hand before it was stored. It is provided for your personal use and is not yours to redistribute.
07What you may not do
- Share, resell, publish or redistribute the lineup library or any part of it, or extract it from the application.
- Share your subscription, account or licence key with anyone else.
- Work around the technical measures that protect the content, or reverse-engineer the application except where the law expressly permits it.
- Use the application in a way that breaks Riot Games' rules for your own account. We have built ValoAssist to stay inside Riot's published developer policy — screen capture only, nothing drawn over the game, no injection — but your account and your conduct in the game remain yours.
08Riot Games and VALORANT
ValoAssist is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or specifically approved by Riot Games, Inc. VALORANT and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
We do not control Riot's rules and they can change. If Riot changes its policies such that we can no longer offer the product, we may stop selling it — and where that happens in the middle of a period you have paid for, we refund the unused part.
09Requirements, and what can change
ValoAssist requires Windows 10 or 11, two monitors and a 16:9 display. It refuses to run on a single monitor rather than cover the game. These requirements are stated on the home page before purchase, and they are the most likely reason the product will not suit you, so please check them first.
The library changes over time. Riot reworks maps, and when it does the affected lineups have to be re-recorded, so coverage of a given map can go down as well as up. We will not remove content in order to sell it back to you.
10What we do not promise
ValoAssist is a reference tool. Every lineup in it was thrown in game before it was stored, but we do not promise that a given throw will land in every situation, that the app will read every frame correctly, or that using it will improve your results or your rank. The application is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows we exclude implied warranties beyond what is written here.
11Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms — in particular by sharing or redistributing the library — or where we are legally required to. If we end your access and you are not at fault, we refund the unused part of your current period.
12Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim connected with ValoAssist is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects you we will tell you before it takes effect, and you may cancel rather than accept it. The date at the top of this page is when it last changed.
14Governing law and your rights as a consumer
These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia, and the courts of Slovenia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, that does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there.
